These Terms and Conditions will apply to all services provided through Simply Equality unless otherwise specified.
Definitions
“You” – companies, persons or all other entities who have booked a service with Simply Equality
“Simply Equality” – The trading name of Simply Equality Ltd, a social enterprise whose aim is to break down barriers for Disabled and/or LGBTQIA+ people at work.
“Us” – Simply Equality Ltd “Event” – Service being provided by Simply Equality
What the Process will Look Like
- If you are reading this, then you have completed and submitted our online booking form.
- Read these terms and conditions.
- Simply Equality will use the information you have provided to us to generate an invoice – please get in touch if you will need us to use different information than has already been provided for this purpose. Email finance@SimplyEquality.com
- Once payment has been received your booking will be confirmed and considered final. All bookings will be considered unconfirmed until we have received payment.
- On completion of the booking process a contract will be implied the terms of which are outlined below.
Payment
Full payment for services will be due within 30 days of the invoice being generated or at least 7 days prior to the event date, which ever is sooner.
Late payment may result in the event being cancelled and late payment fees being charged.

Changes and Cancellations
Customer Cancellation
If the customer cancels their booking at least fourteen days before the date of the event, the cost of service will be fully refundable.
In the event that a customer cancels their booking, less than fourteen days before the date of the event and more than seven days before the event, Simply Equality will charge an administration fee of 50% of the service cost.
If a customer cancels their booking less than seven days before the event, the full cost of service will be considered non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances.
Rescheduling
If a customer needs to reschedule an event, we will do our best to accommodate such a request. Where an event has incurred travel costs, Simply Equality reserves the right to charge an administration fee for event changes made less than 14 days before the event.
While every effort will be made to avoid Simply Equality needing to reschedule, if circumstances mean that we are unable to conduct the event at the agreed date and time, Simply Equality will notify you as soon as practical and rearrange a suitable time for the event at no extra cost to you.
Technical Issues
For virtual events where you are setting up the technical side of things (i.e. the zoom or teams meeting) Simply Equality will not be held responsible for any failings on that part. If due to technical issues an event is unable to proceed, we will discuss appropriate ways forward and reschedule the event.
Limitations of Liability
Our liability in relation to cancellations, changes to venues and/or rescheduling is limited to the price paid for such events and we shall not be liable for any consequential losses.
During the event Simply Equality will not be acting as your solicitor, legal advisor or financial advisor – our advice is guidance, training and grounded in our own lived and professional experience.
Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright
The copyright of all materials written and produced by Simply Equality belong to Simply Equality unless agreed otherwise. No part of the course material should be used or reproduced without written consent from Simply Equality, unless agreed otherwise.
Unless agreed explicitly, the event will not be recorded.
Data Protection
We have used the information you have provided in at the time of filling in your booking form to generate an invoice. We will also use the information provided by you to communicate with you about the service you have purchased.
We will share information provided with third parties:
- Microsoft Bookings
- Quickbooks or SquareUp payments
By filling in the booking form, you agree to us using your personal information in such a way. For further details on privacy and Simply Equality please read our privacy notice available on our website.
